My Documents redirection monitoring

We use my documents redirection at a number of different clients and sometimes there are problems with syncing. Does anyone have a tool they use to monitor and report on the status of My Document redirection? I'm looking for something that tells me if the policy was applied, what the current setting is, and can alert me if sync is lost (I.e. there is a discrepency in the CSC and the network location). Almost all of our environments are server 2008 / Windows 7.
