What would the best path be to get my server 2008 certifications? I only have my MCP on XP so it is not usable for this MCITP. I want to go about this the right way. Any advise would be helpful

For MCITP:EA I went with the following path: 70-640 > 70-642 > 70-643 > 70-647 > 70-680. Since 70-680 touches many Windows Server 2008 areas it makes sense to leave it for the end. Others however, have passed it without going into server exams.

No matter which path you choose they make sure you use several study resources such as videos and books. Building a lab has also proven to be very important.

Strongly agree. I'm self taught on AD (I don't have it at work), I was able to use the MS Press book to practice, and I built - and rebuilt, and rebuilt - an AD environment at my home lab. Passed the 640, studying for the 642 using the same method.
