Passed 70-271 with 733!
I only studied for a week, hence the low score...
I had a bit of everything... Am I allowed to say what areas the questions where in? Don't wanna break any rules, but i do wanna provide some good feedback... if so let me know I'll update my post
Feels so GOOD to pass a MS exam after not taking one for a while.......

I used MS press and Transcenders only!
Thank you! I couldn't of done it with the support of everyone on this forum!

I too took 70-271 on Tuesday and passed. I had alot of laptop questions on mine. I found the M$ press book too thick and boring(Sorry just my opinion), so I got my boss to buy me the Exam Cram2 book set(271 & 272). I do agree that the Transcenders are very good for this exam too!
I'm planning to sit for 272 around the 1st week of May, what about you?

Do you mean May 1st ?
I think I will give myself at least 2 weeks to study for this one. Might book it for 4/30...
Any tips Ricka182 for 70-272???

Can't wait to get back on the MCSA/E track
D-boy: What do YOU mean?
Of course I meant "May", that's what I wrote above, right?
.... Can't you read? ...
BTW, did you get a book for 272 already? I hear this is a good book for MCDST:

As long as you don't give anyone an unfair advantage and don't post or quote actual exam content you'll be ok. Technically you can't say "I had this and that on my exam" cause that is disclosing actual exam info. However, things like "Make sure you know DNS" or "Man, I wish I focussed more on Dynamic Updates" etc. are acceptable.
I for one would be interested in hearing your feedback on this and I'm sure other future test candidates also.
Now that you mention this, it may be a good idea to set up some guidelines for exam reviews, aiming at a format similar as those at www.certcities.com and www.tcpmag.com/exams (Check out Andy Barkl's wonderful reviews)
Most importantly: when in doubt, don't

Yes, I ordered the MS press book from www.bookpool.com, I have done good with the MS press books even though sometimes they put me to sleep!

I had 15mins left on the clock after reviewing my answers. I never read the first line of each question, since it was just fluff to start off with. After answering all the questions, I went back and reviewed about 20 at least questions I was not 100%, and then used the last 55 minutes to fine tune my remaining answers. All in all, I didn't think the test was as hard as 70-210 a little more on the soft side, some questions I knew and was like
Well off to study for 70-272!
