Virtualization HD limitation
I am currently studying for my Red Hat Clustering exam and attending the course at the end of the month. I know with virtualization a large amount of the problem I am going to have using my laptop i5 and 6gb ram is going to be the hd. I am looking for viable solutions around this. Here is what I am have came up with thus far. According to rank is what I feel is the most financially feasible/performance
1) Use current USB 2.0 thumb drive (going to be pretty slow but operational)
2) Purchase USB 3.0 external drive
3) Swap out the 750gb laptop drive for 120GB solid state (this would only be temporary due to the laptop being the fiances main computer)

Have you considered doing an external SSD? Over USB 3.0 it should give you more than enough speed to run VMs off of. -
