This what microsoft say:

Windows XP Professional, or Windows XP Home Edition
128 MB of RAM plus an additional 8 MB of RAM for each Office program (such as Word) running simultaneously.

I would say probably not but there are a number of variables including what O/S you are running, what processor you have and how many programs of the Office Suite you want to install. Here is a link to the Microsoft deployment site for XP Pro:

I don't believe you said what OS the machine has on it, but I'm assuming XP of some sort. If that is the case, most certainly NO.

Heck I would not put anything on a machine with 64Mb RAM - the OS and AntiVirus will kill that without any help from something else.

Remember when reading specifications - they are the minimum needed to install a product ... it doesn't mean that it will work.

..sounds like an older PC - look for some cheap ram and up it to at 256MB - you should be able to do that rather cheaply and you'll be happier with the pc's performance...
