Windows 8 Beta Released Soon?
The Windows 8 Build Blog launched this week and they hint that a beta will be coming soon:
The Build conference starts September 13th - maybe they will release the beta at the conference?
The early UI demo looks a lot like Windows Phone 7. Not sure if giving up my Start Menu for a bunch of tiles will make me any more productive, but I'll give it a shot.

We've been hard at work designing and building Windows 8, and today we want to begin an open dialog with those of you who will be trying out the pre-release version over the coming months.

I'm not ready for Windows 8 yet. I'm still working on all of the Windows 7 stuff!
It doesn't look very attractive to me, but then again I still want the old branching start menu and taskbar back.Decide what to be and go be it.
