Taking VCP 4 thursday

I am taking the VCP 4 exam thursday, I took install configure manage class in february and I have been working with the product full time for nearly two years, not to mention I have spent massive amounts of overtime working on several implemenations that included SRM, storage, and the 1000v. I feel like I am in ok shape for the exam.
I feel weak on a few things like resource optimization, resource pools, and Iscsi and fibre channel.
I only work with NFS currently so I feel short on storage connection experience. I am going through the study motions and cramming hardware min's and max's
I know there is an NDA in place, but can anyone who has taken the test give some insight on anything else I should study up on?

Good luck on Thursday!!MentholMoose

Not saying it is part of the exam (you never know) but ISCSI is a big part of the product (do you know how to configure multipathing for example?) so this s something you should know. Resources are a big one for sure (my weak point too), so maybe have another read.
Having said that all that, if your exam is tomorrow then you should probably stay away from books and machines, rest, and go to bed early to clear your head. If you don't know something tonight then it is unlikely you learn that now so no need to stress out over it but make sure you're going in there as fresh as possibleMy own knowledge base made public: http://open902.com -

slinuxuzer Member Posts: 665 ■■■■□□□□□□Well, it turned out to be a really rotten day, for starters I failed with a 260 when 300 was needed, I feel like the materials I was using didn't prepare me for the test there was some in depth questions that I just wasn't expecting, also I feel like I got just hammered on my weakest points.
So I left the test only to find out my brother was going in to emergency surgery to remove his appendix, so I spent damn near all night at the hospital, went home got back up early to go get him, spent literally 5 minutes packing for Vmworld, trip, wich he was supposed to be on, so a friend and I went 1 person short, and ever since then I have been in vegas and tied up with Vmworld, the first two days were going to be play time, but I've had trouble getting into that since I was worried, then sunday I started the VMworld experience and I think I've walked about thirty miles since then.
That all being said, It's only the second exam I've failed and it was just as much a blow to me as the first one (70-297) and I feel it was failed for the same reason, lack of preparation, now I did spend plenty of time studying, but the materials I used weren't deep enough.
VMworld has been amazing and has really inspired me to come back home and get hardcore about not only VCP but other thinks like powershell / powercli, also learning more about storage and capacity planning for storage.
So I am trying to stay in good spirits, I'll be going home friday and I'm ready.
