Is there a amount of time to take the comptia a+ (701,702

I took one in Aug of 2010, then I was deployed I'm taking the next one this Friday and it says something like activity completion date Jan 2011.

I am asking if there is a time limit between each test, like 1 month 6 months 1 year etc,

There is no time period between the exams. You can take the Essentials one month then take your elective exam 3-6-9 months later. The only time you would have to complete the certification in a time period is if compTIA revises their exams, so if you do not want to have to start all over you must complete them before the revision takes effect.
