hey guys

I'm trying to learn subnetting and so far Ive learnt how to do the following:

how to determine Network ID
how to determine the Broadcast IP
how to determine the host range

my question is there any sites or videos that you guys can give me that teaches how to determine subnets and hosts per subnet.

I understand what I already is the easiest part I just started learning today and I couldnt find any good sites that teaches what im looking for any advice would be appreciated it.

if possible Videos would be more benefical for me as I learn better by watching.

Plenty of online content out there these days. I would advise though that the best way to learn this is to do it, just like in mathematics. Get a good book and spend a whole week working exercises out on paper. You will remember it for life.

I made this little tool in Excel to help me get through Network + & CCNA. It has a bunch of info regarding IP addressing and subnetting.

There are tons of material you can get,there are a lot of video for ccna that you can lay your hands on like the cbtnuggets video and some other but i think Jeremy cbtnuggets is good and also the todd lammle book.Man practice,practice,practice is the key to subnetting,with time you will get it nail down,its easy...............
