Passed 70-640

Hi all,

Been lurking for a long time but decided to register and post.
I passed 70-640 yesterday with 860 points.

Looking into getting materials for 70-642 now.
Which book would you recommend to use together with the Microsoft Press?

Congratulations on the pass

I have 640 coming up in Three weeks 9-16. I'm lousing my mind reading four books and hammering on the SelfTest. I might be just over analyzing this test but to me it just seems to be a tough one from what I have done before.

As for the 642 I was talking with a guy that took it last week and he was totally throwen off he said there was some sims in it I was in shock I thought MS went with all multiple choice guess not.

also what all would i need if i wanna self teach myself and do it at home in terms of software and hardware?

Congrats!!! I'm schedule to take my second attemp mid-Sept. I took it lightly the first time around since I passed 70-642 and failed miserably. I'm better prepared this time around and hope to get the same result as you. Cheers!!!

M$ has been using multiple choice, drag and drop, and sims for years now.

Awesome job! 640 is no walk in the park. And the knowledge you gain is applicable to everything else dealing with Microsoft servers...

Congrats. I passed this exam 2 years ago, wasn't easy but I had strong arsenal. MS Press (EA Kit) Train Signal, and a home lab.
