Wonder if VMware once again extends the period short notice and offers free re-take.

You could wait and see, however I'd rather just do the exam when I think I'm ready, and plan to be ready in good time prior to the deadline...VCP2 / VCP3 / VCP4 / VCP5 / VCAP4-DCA / VCI / vExpert 2010-2012

Booked in for Feb. 2nd ... Man those exams got expensive .. surely they increased the price (compared to VCP3 or 4 even). My own knowledge base made public: http://open902.com -

Probably take it around the same time as you as well, early Feb I expect! The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never tell if they are genuine - Abraham Lincoln

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands... -

Maybe you are lucky and vmware once again extends the deadline and offers free-retakes (as seen with VCP 3 > 4)....My own knowledge base made public: http://open902.com -

MentholMoose Member Posts: 1,525 ■■■■■■■■□□The VCP 5 isn't showing on my VMware transcript yet, but VUE is showing my VCP510 beta results as "pass" (it had been "taken"), so hopefully this is correct and I'm done.MentholMoose
