So which VCP 3/4 is shooting for 5 before Feb. 29

Wonder if VMware once again extends the period short notice and offers free re-take.

    Free re-take promos do make an appearance sometimes, I think VMware would only extend any deadlines if lots of candidates leave it too late to get booked into a testing centre. You could wait and see, however I'd rather just do the exam when I think I'm ready, and plan to be ready in good time prior to the deadline...

    Booked in for Feb. 2nd ... Man those exams got expensive .. surely they increased the price (compared to VCP3 or 4 even).

    Yep, I'll be going for this before the planned deadline, though I'll be going on the What's New course regardless according to my boss. Probably take it around the same time as you as well, early Feb I expect!

    Nice, wish I'd could go, but since there is a chance to do it cheaper they prefer to throw time and money (for the exam) at me :)

    I want to, but I have many things going on so I might not be able to get it in.
    IT guy since 12/00

    Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
    Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

    Maybe you are lucky and vmware once again extends the deadline and offers free-retakes (as seen with VCP 3 > 4)....

    I'm planning on it as of now, until it's officially confirmed that VCAP4 --> VCAP5 includes VCP5. Working on VCAP-DCA right now.

    The VCP 5 isn't showing on my VMware transcript yet, but VUE is showing my VCP510 beta results as "pass" (it had been "taken"), so hopefully this is correct and I'm done. :)
