For what reason would I use "winnt32 /copysource" when installing WinXP?

The training kit says:

"Creates an additional folder within the %systemroot% folder. Setup deletes folders created with /copysource after installation is complete."

This is not a very descriptive explaination. Why would I want to create a folder just to delete it?

If you were installing a thrid party software or drivers that needed to be installed but you do not need the files on the harddrive you would del the files. The same goes if you were doing this during install.
