Passed Network+
I took the N10-004 exam today and passed. Some learning areas you should focus on: security, the CompTIA method for network troubleshooting, and everything about cables including fiber. If this were a letter graded test, my grade would be an A.
The resources I used to study were the Sybex cert kit:
Amazon.com: CompTIA Network+ Certification Kit: (Exam: N10-004) (9780470430972): Todd Lammle, Bill Ferguson, Toby Skandier: Books
and
Professor Messer videos:
Professor Messer's Free CompTIA Network+ Certification Training Course | Professor Messer - CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Certification Training
Time to study was 11 days, about 5 hours per day. I usually read for 1 hour and then watched videos for 1 hour. Afterwards I would take a 1 hour break to run errands or do things around the house. Near the last few days of study time, I had completed all video material, so those days were spent reading full time.
