email summary information missing (outlook)

I'm using Outlook 2003,

Normally you have contact, time and subject information summarized on emails to help selection. In my personal folder all the information is missing. You have to select an email and view it to find out what it is.

Any ideas how to get this information back?

Try opening Outlook with the /cleanviews switch.
