Finally have an interview at my local library Tuesday. First call back in almost a month. icon_cheers.gif

    Thanks. It's part time but the pay is good. Best part is that it's a few minutes walk from my house.

    I was thinking of doing the shirt/tie/khaki combo since it's a non-corporate interview. If it's a corporate deal it's suits all the way.

    Getting a new haircut this weekend.

    Wear the suit. I interviewed at Google and they said don't worry about you wear, one of my interviewers had a StarWars tshirt on, I still wore the suit. Dress to impress and show that you are taking the interview/position seriously.

    Will find out by Friday they said.

    I think it went well. I've been to other library IT interviews that only lasted 30 minutes; this one almost pushed an hour. They also had me fill out a formal application whereas the other places just took my resume.

    I sent a thank you letter last Wednesday and emailed this morning. He's on vacation this week but I was told to expect to hear something by last Friday.

    Nothing as of yet. I've been applying via Monster, Careerbuilder, Craigslist and other places but no bites this week yet.
