I shall no longer be responding to posts other than those on my study thread due to pressure at work. For those who wish to stay in touch by all means send me a PM.

2012 will deliver 2 -4 CCIE's on TE, for those who dont make it, plan for 2013, its a long game unless you have a comfortable job working for Cisco. If you dont, you will often be too busy doing real work to study.

Good luck.

Best of luck man. I will be sticking to my thread as well and not much else, to focus on labbing. I'll be sure to follow your thread and hopefully you are right..2-4 CCIE's next year would be great.

Good luck! On a side note, I was very disappointed by this thread's title. I was thinking it was going to be able a Green Beret CCIE or a Navy SEAL CCIE....very upsetting that it wasn't....

We may not do dangerous work..but a few of us on this forum are IT special forces. What's in a number? Many that have them are not special forces. When we are not busy doing important work..we will get a number.

Due to working a LOT with ASA's at work (nothing like trial by fire), and generally having a ridiculous amount of projects at work- I'll be scheduling my 1st attempt for Feb-March 2013. It's going to come quick.

I'm looking at December 2012, or January 2013.

I thought that CCIE: SP Ops meant "Special Operations" like Special Forces ><. Although I could see a team of geeks all ninja-like working for AT&T with their throwing stars.

That's what really happens when a fiber cut occurs... someone missed with their throwing star!

I'm planning for my first CCIE Wireless lab in Q1 2013. Not easy to find the time to study when having a newborn to care for.. but not gonna let that stop me :)
