CCENT worth more than I though

So since I've put my CCENT on my resume, I got an email from some medical company hiring for a networking position. It seems promising. They say IT can be taught and they need someone that can communicate well with a team and provide good customer service. The interview is supposed to take place at Winghouse of Tampa on Thursday. I also just got an email asking me for a phone interview for an NOC position tomorrow. I enjoy my job doing tech support for Dell but networking is where I really want to be and I feel like the CCENT has already done a lot for me. I'm just imaging how much better things will get once I get my CCNA. I just wanted to share that with anybody considering the CCENT. It's no a bad idea to just go straight for the CCNA but it's nice to know that I can break into networking while I'm still working on my CCNA.

Good luck with your class. Cisco certifications definitely seem to open alot of doors for people.

Why is the interview at a winghouse? Have you checked if they have a corporate office ? or is it just a contractor?

Thanks for the heads up. Like the previous poster I will be starting my CCNA courses in January. I am also in Tampa, and its a good look knowing that local companies are looking for these certs. Please keep up updated and good luck to you.
