What certs does everyone have and how long did it take you to earn the cert?

Around 3 months each, but I also have a lot going on other than studying for certifications.

A+ = 3 months
N+ = 1 month after A+

MCDST = 3 months total for both exams.

Current studying = taking forever lol, hopefully will take 270 next month sometime and that would be first test since Feb

Exactly the same boat I'm in.

<---- Took me about 2-3 months for Net+, around 2 months for A+, and I'm gonna schedule I-Net+ so prolly a month for that. It's hard studying for certs while going to work and college full time though... .

1 month=network+ study 30min a day
2 month=security+ study 60min a day
1 month=cwna study 120min a day
1 week=i-net+ study 15min

CCNA in about 3 months.

I took about 2 months for A+ studies, about a month for Net+, 6 weeks for 210, 0 for 272, 10 hours for 271......still working on 215 and 218, which should both be done by September(hopefully)......

Let me answer my own question now that I have some certs under my belt

A+ 3 weeks

Network+ 2 weeks

70-270 1 month


I'm taking my time on 290 and 291 though.

A+ - 2 weeks, but I had to wait a week to sit the exam.
Net+ - 2 weeks
MS 70-210 & 70-215 - about a month.
Sec+ - missed a couple times after months of study

LPI 102, 2 weeks
MCP 227, 1 month
MCP 270, 2 months
MCP 290, 2 months
CCNA, 3 months


While studying, I attended formal education and worked full-time. On avarage, I used 1½ hours a day studying for certs.
