I started laughing before I saw the CCIE... they essentially outlined an expert even before the outlandish preference for a CCIE. That's pretty funny. Someone should call this recruiter up and let him know he isn't going to get his commission on this one.

That's right powerfool. The CCIE was just icing on the cake.

I read that in the first two words I seen this one was half ass written. I should apply and give them my salesperson resume from many years ago. I bet I get a call back from the recruiter lol.

This recruiter is obviously high on some illegal substance.....and I'm not talking about pot.

This did make for a good laugh though.

LOL...These recruiters are so ignorant!! They should require that all I.T. recruiters to have a PHD in Business.

At the minimum an Associates in Common Sense, but that's asking for a little too much these days.

Looks to me what they really want is a VoIP guy.

    Just saw this ad:

    Senior Network Administrator with CCNA

Our client located is seeking a Senior Network Administrator for a 3-6 month contract engagement. This is a Senior level opening and we are looking for someone with several years of experience. The qualified candidate will have experience with Routers, Switches and Hubs. Must have some design experience. Ideally some experience setting up configuration with BGP. CCNA is required.

    What's wrong with that one?

It looks reasonable to be given what they are asking for. The several years of experience offsets asking for something above CCNA I think.
    Thanks, Tom

"Cisco CCIE certifications is a strong plus"

As long as the job pays competitively for the cert, I wouldn't care what the title was. Of course, I'm pretty sure they're not going to pony up CCIE-type money for this position. icon_lol.gif
