Congrats,
Do you think that With these mentioned books, you needn't to read MS Training Kits 70-642 r2, does "Sybex 640,642,643 R2 Book" has enaugh excercises & labs. -

Training 4 new people at work, anniversary, mother coming in for a few days, car troubles, and a decent bit of overtime, i'm pretty well beat when I get home. Was only off by a few questions, gonna try and get back on it this evening if I can.WGU BS:IT Completed June 30th 2012.

I have not used the MS Training Kit books for any test for Server 2008 R2 so I really can't compare the two. I did however order 646 and 643 R2 MS Training Kits the other day waiting for them to come in. As for the Sybex lab's not the best lab's I have seen but for my studies I'm about 50% read 25% Practice Test and 25% Lab so I don't depend on labbing to much I know that some people learn more by doing lab's but I learn more by reading.
If you are looking for what I think are the best Lab books out that would have to be Amazon.com: Exam 70-642 Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure Configuration with Lab Manual Set (Microsoft Official Academic Course Series) (978047087501: Microsoft Official Academic Course: Books I used those books at my Tech school but they are not for R2 and they are very expensive.Certifications: A+,Net+,MCTS-620,640,642,643,659,MCITP-622,623,646,647,MCSE-246 -

I passed the 70-640 on my first attempt and felt this subject matter would be easier for me. Thats why I didn't prep as hard. Well I learned my lesson. Gonna give myself another couple of weeks before I try again.
Has anyone else used the free second shot retakes from Microsoft/Prometric? How do you sign up/register for the re-take. I'm a little lost. The link they provided no longer works.
