How would you advertise IGP routes into EGP: by redistributing routes from IGP to EGP or via static network statements?

IGRP and EIGRP automatically exchange routes if they have the same AS numbers. If not, route redistribution has to be explicityly configured.

Keep in mind that when you talk EGP, you're talking BGP. RIP, OSPF, ISIS, IGRP, and EIGRP are all IGP's. How you inject routes into BGP (and whether you should in the first place) all depends on whether BGP is synched to the IGP, not synched, or a few other factors. It's not something you really need to know for the CCNA.= Marcus Drakonblayde
