Question regarding path to CCIE R&S

barquerabarquera Member Posts: 21 ■□□□□□□□□□
I am looking to start studying for the CCIE Lab in June.
I don't want to waste time and money and I want to pass on the first attempt.
I feel that with everyone's input I will be able to narrow down what I need to do in order to pass the Lab.

After reviewing this link from Jason_Lunde it sounds like the following will suffice:
http://www.techexams.net/forums/ccie/67605-ccie-29431-a.html
*INE Workbook V2
*Use INE rack rentals
*Attending Narbik bootcamp

Please let me know what you think
I am looking for suggestions or recommendations from others.

What's your current level of experience?

It really all depends on what you currently know vs what you need to know.
I would suggest that the material you mentioned above is not even close to what you need.

    Have you passed the written?

Didn't look at the thread but I bet he counted his materials used studying for the CCNP and CCIP as part of his preparation towards the CCIE? I.e. MPLS Fundamentals, IRA, QoS official cert guide, etc, etc.

Yes, I am counting on the CCNP, CCIP reading material.
I should have my CCNP by the end of this year.
I will start for CCIE R&S in June 2012.
January -> May I plan to get a lot of reading out of the way.
