Hey guys,

Just wondering what you use for 100Mb CPE devices? We currently use the Juniper J series but the failure rate and issues we have had over the last 12 months is woeful. Doesnt have to be just cisco, but they will be included, So im just looking for any Alternatives at the moment.

Any suggestions?

My ISP uses zhone appliances. I have a lot of these on my networks and they have never failed. They aren't pretty though. We have them terminating multiplexed T1s and DSL connections. To break out T1s they use ad tran routers which have been the norm for voice communications for years.

    Welcome to the IP Zhone

Both are quiet as a mouse with no internal fans. When you take a Cisco IAD offline and replace it with one of these, the difference is noticeable.

I haven't used the IP Zhone, but I agree with it_consultant on the Adtran TAs. I've seen them used a t a couple different companies and haven't had much of an issue. CLI is easy to get along with if you are familiar with Cisco also.
