Take new test or old?
I'm planning to take the test on Monday. From those of you who took the beta, I'd like to ask your advice on whether to take the old or new version.
So the minimum passing score has been lowered, but the question count has been raised from 72 to 85. My question is: is the difficulty of the new test on par with the new passing score, or would you be better off taking the old test with the higher required passing score? Thanks.
What is the minimum score required to pass the CompTIA Network+ exam?
The CompTIA Network+ exam is graded on a scale of 100 - 900. 646 is the minimum passing score for exam code N10-002 and 554 is the minimum passing score for N10-003.
So the minimum passing score has been lowered, but the question count has been raised from 72 to 85. My question is: is the difficulty of the new test on par with the new passing score, or would you be better off taking the old test with the higher required passing score? Thanks.

Ricka182 Member Posts: 3,359The old test is very easy. The new test is supposed to make Net+ a slightly more seriously taken cert. Most employers don't specify. It usually works as a good study cert for other certs, and basic knwoledge as well.i remain, he who remains to be....
