Having my iPhone/iPad with me on-site is amazing. With VNC and LogMeIn I can hit all of my PCs, files, etc if I forget something or need to look at reference docs.
Other than that of the top of my head...caffeine. Lots of caffeine. -

Remote access software -I like VNC. Logmein is nice.
Excel is good for smaller operations and keeping track of assets. -

Akaricloud Member Posts: 938I say get to know your windows tools well.
Using event viewer remotely, accessing their hard drives remotely, psexec or powershell, ect.
If you see a reoccuring problem then script an automated fix.
Also you can configure a lot of installers to do just what you want. For example, I set up our Office 2007 installer to be run silently without any user intervention needed. -

LogMeIn is ok...only problem is you have install the client on each machine...i prefer LogMeIn Rescue, but you need to have a license for that, but it doesnt install anything on the user's machine, and many pplz you help will like that part. I also use TeamViewer, i just run it from location, i dont save or install to my pc, i'm not buying a license for it...*kanyeshrug*Link Me

If you have config mgr client installed on your client systems then there is a lot of things that can be done through that. I would still learn how to use cmd and powershell though as it will help with many things that most people think you have to download a program for. Also know how to use sysinternals tools. Saves your butt a lot. -
