Hi Guys,
I am a big time reader here and need peoples advice on were I should be aiming.
Currently I am a IT Tech at a high school and have been for about two years now. Studying a Bach of commerce majoring in business systems though have done first year computer science got sick of programming so headed out of it.
I'd like to take some vendor certs on to start pushing my self up and start looking for other job opportunities, I have looked at doing A+ and have started studying for it but don't really know if there is much point. Have also looked at ITIL foundation.
My questions is do I bother with A+ or start looking at ITIL, MS Certs, Cisco Certs?
Please Help

So the short answer is rather trite, sorry about that; what do you want to do? No certification that I know of is going to look bad on your resume but some may be more useful than others based on what you want to do. Do you want to program, do you want to do security, do you want to do hardware maint, do you want to manage, do you want to do lots of paperwork.... if you figure out what you 'want' to do, what you 'need' to do becomes a much easier question to answer. -
