I found it easier mainly due to the heavy use of ASDM and a decent portion of the chapters focus on what I would call ASA basics: naming interfaces, security zones, routing, etc.... where SECURE jumps right into the professional level topics.WIP: IPS exam -
nicklauscombs Member Posts: 885got a little sidetrack recently as the datacenter i work at is shutting down operations and i've been focused on picking out a new job and moving up to the Northern VA/DC area. i'm going to cram this weekend at work and do some final labbing and hopefully sit the VPN exam on monday or tuesday.WIP: IPS exam

Congrats!! You are going strong and should soon have the whole thing cleared. Awesome progress!“You don’t become great by trying to be great. You become great by wanting to do something, and then doing it so hard that you become great in the process.” (c) xkcd #896

Thanks, no experience with the Cisco IPS devices so I'm looking forward to diving in and see how they differ from the McAfee devices I've been using for the past year.WIP: IPS exam -
