    sorry for the delay and glad someone is actually interested haha. between work and a three day long weekend i forgot to post the results.

    ANOTHER PASS!

    started flipping through the VPN material and will resume full on studies on monday.

    How difficult was FIREWALL compared to SECURE?

    I found it easier mainly due to the heavy use of ASDM and a decent portion of the chapters focus on what I would call ASA basics: naming interfaces, security zones, routing, etc.... where SECURE jumps right into the professional level topics.

    got a little sidetrack recently as the datacenter i work at is shutting down operations and i've been focused on picking out a new job and moving up to the Northern VA/DC area. i'm going to cram this weekend at work and do some final labbing and hopefully sit the VPN exam on monday or tuesday.

    VPN exam has been booked for noon today. going to spend the morning playing around in the asdm demo mode and hopefully squeeze out another pass.

    864 and a pass. a lot of real out there questions in my opinion that weren't covered by the cisco press guide but obviously weren't terribly difficult to guess on. next up is IPS.

    Thanks, no experience with the Cisco IPS devices so I'm looking forward to diving in and see how they differ from the McAfee devices I've been using for the past year.
