Needing like a MAN page for CCNA switch/router commands

in CCNA & CCENT
Greetings, I'm making up some flash cards to help study and trying to find any Cisco material that gives more information on what a command does. I'm not aware if Cisco IOS has a MAN/INFO pages like Linux other then the ? after you type the command.
I'm using Cisco Packet Tracker with IOS v12.2 and I did find the following sites:
Cisco IOS Software Releases 12.2 Mainline Command References - Cisco Systems
Cisco IOS Switching Services Command Reference, Release 12.2 [Cisco IOS Software Releases 12.2 Mainline] - Cisco Systems
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2/switch/command/reference/xrf_bk.pdf
However I'm not able to find more details on what a command does and it would be helpful.
thanks

Use the command reference on the Cisco site, the '?' to see options and build scenarios. Cisco networking is largely learned by doing. -

Could get an ebook copy of the orielly ios book Cisco IOS Cookbook, Second Edition: Safari Books Online
but it is slightly out of date compared to the cisco command reference which is available per ios release and per model.Goals CCNA by dec 2013, CCNP by end of 2014 -

There are all the commands you need and more in the Cisco Press CCNA Portable Command Guide. Its a nice size to carry around as well:
