Linux From Scratch again
Last year I built a Linux system using LFS.org. That build was based on LFS 6.5. They are now up to 7.0. So far I've swapped out the drive in my old laptop, and downloaded all of the packages. I am ready to proceed. I created a blog below to try and keep me honest:

I have now finished compiling everything, including the build of a new kernal. Prepared the external drive, with a new MBR, and installed GRUB. Now I need to take the drive out of the laptop, and put the new one in, and see if I can boot. -
