Cisco 2501

Hy guys!
Is Cisco 2501 still a good router for CCNA lab(to run OSPF,RIP,EIGRP). I have a 2620xm router and i think that i will save money if i will connect this router to CISCO 2501 Serial Port.

It will still do at least 90% of what you need for the CCNA. But the 2500 line is hard to recommend when you can find 1721's and 1760's almost as cheap and they do so much more.

hell you can find 2610s for $10 a piece nowadays, although you'd have to find a wic 1t, but it's advantage is it's modular.

if you do get a 2501, make sure it's maxed out on ram and it has the proper boot rom. You can go broke getting this stuff if it doesn't (as I learned the hard way)
