Isn't this a good thing? rather than proprietary formats go with a single standard? I figured most of this was mobile websites were going with HTML5 because the majority of tablet browsers were the iPad and half of mobile browsing was mobile safari. Flash runs pretty laggy and slow on my HTC phone anyways.
