Microsoft exams - free second shots offer?

Hi all, our trainer in my MCITP class mentioned something about a free offer for exams from Microsoft. I don't exactly remember what this was about and the college closed down half-way through the course so I can no longer ask him about it.Does anyone know what this is? The teacher said it was something Microsoft offered in the summer and he was expecting to see more of those offers in the autumn.I'd be grateful if anyone could give some info.

Correct. At some point you got the Second Shot for free with a paid test. Later on there was an offer where you paid a 15% premium on top of the regular exam price for the Second Shot. As far as I know there are no offers like this running at the moment. Also, Dreamspark.com was offering a free exam but that is also over. You may want to keep checking the Born to Learn blog as well as the MCP offer site Discounts on Microsoft Certification Exams. If there's a promo running there's a good chance it will also show up here. We love them!
