What education path to pursue?

Okay, I am still trying to figure out what to do and my deadline to decide is coming up soon. Here is my situation:
I have a BS in Information Technology from a B/M school.
I have my A+.
I have about 1 year of experience as a computer technician. 70% out in the field / 30% help desk.
I have about 1 year of experience in web design. Wordpress/PHP/CSS/Photopshop/ETC...
I have taken several Java class's but no job experience with OOP.
I have narrowed it down to:
University of Washington - BS in Computer Science
Western Governers University - MS in Information Security and Assurance
What should I do to best help me career wise? Think job availability, career advancement, job satisfaction, etc.
Thanks in advance!

So I think you really have to love math and programming to be successful. But there are a lot of programming jobs and they make good money.

Do you currently have a job? -If so doing what?
The MS:IS might be a good option if it's something you enjoy. Getting a full time job and pursuing your MS:IS would definitely give you a good combination of experience and education to advance with. -
Whiteout Member Posts: 248I agree with you sheckler on the class's will be harder, but school has always come easy to me and not to worried about that part. And math is one of my strong points.
Well I do want to get into programming, I am only 23 and already tired of dealing with customers. Ha ha. Right now I am in the Air Force Reserves, but working full time for them. Soon though I will be back to a weekend warrior and that is why I want to put my VA benefits to use and go back to school. My current job is a Client Systems Technician, basically anything that plugs into the wall, we support and maintain.Never stop learning. -
effekted Member Posts: 166If you're wanting to get into programming and become a programmer/developer than you are better off getting the Computer Science degree over the Masters at WGU. The company I work for doesn't even look at people that don't have Computer Science degree and I imagine most companies are the same when it comes to programming/developing.

btw: Gig Harbor is nice, I drive by fairly often.
