Greenville may not be a big IT area, but it is a nice place to live. Good luck with your job search. One thing I have done is create auto searches with Indeed for keywords. Then you automatically results at whatever time you set to receive them.
Be sure to also check out the Greenville Hospital System. I know that they are expanding. -

The problem with Charlotte is that it's about a 2 hour drive from there, which is the same as Atlanta.
