I have read the R2 version of the MS Training Kit, I also took a class at New Horizons Updating your skills from 2008 to 2008 R2. I think I will do just fine, I have not taken a MS test that has the mini tests as of yet, so I am a little conserned about that.

drew2000 Member Posts: 290Does this one have the mini tests? None of the other MS tests I have taken in this series do. Do you mean the case study-style questions?
Thanks

Psoasman Member Posts: 2,687 ■■■■■■■■■□Good luck on the exam. Did you take the 298 or 297? Those have the testlets, or timed mini-exams. Microsoft seems fond of the case-study style now, important thing to remember is time management. I will read the answers and work my way up, to find the nugget of info that tells you what Microsoft is looking for.

You may though be referring to the 5-6 case study style questions and the 30 or so multiple choice questions section. They dont score the section separately, you only get the score at the end of it all. Skim the case study scenario, DO NOT pay too much attention to the details, then read the questions one-by-one and look for the relevant info in the case study. I had this case study that went into great length about something but there wasnt a single question pertaining to the "something".
Good luck, bring us a win! -
aaronchristenson Member Posts: 261 ■■■■□□□□□□Well I did not make it this time. I got a 640. The area I needed to work on according to the score report is the first section. My plan is to read those chapters again and try in January.Aaron
