Packet Tracer Command wr er, not able to run it

Sorry, another dumb Cisco Packet Tracer command.

I Googled around for V 5.3 and not able to find anything for trying to clear the running-config for a switch/router.

I tried to use wr er and also tried to use a button to clear the running-config and that still doesn't work.

Is there a way to clear the running-config or startup-config without having to blow away the whole lab? thanks

    erase startup-config

    -then-

    reload

...but going back and checking PT, it seems it will take the write erase command as well. Make sure you are at an enable prompt when using the command.
