Packet Tracer Command wr er, not able to run it

Sorry, another dumb Cisco Packet Tracer command.
I Googled around for V 5.3 and not able to find anything for trying to clear the running-config for a switch/router.
I tried to use wr er and also tried to use a button to clear the running-config and that still doesn't work.
Is there a way to clear the running-config or startup-config without having to blow away the whole lab? thanks

reload
...but going back and checking PT, it seems it will take the write erase command as well. Make sure you are at an enable prompt when using the command.
