Guys can somebody point me in the direction of tutorials / videos on how to deploy Windows XP using WDS, Or if somebody can give me a brief outline of the steps to take and I can research the rest

Even though you are asking about XP, I think checking out some of the Professor Messer 70-680 videos would help with concepts and give good demonstrations (section 2 on the 70-680 page deals with capture/deployment).
Also, in the same vein of the Prof videos, the book Mastering Windows 7 Deployment has good material on all the methods of deployment (I think there are 3 chapters on just WDS and it is even the 2K8r2 edition).
