lab question

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and I'm studying for the CCENT test. I have question about a lab setup. I have cisco router 2801 and a 2600 and couple of cisco switches as well. How do I go about setting a lab up with the equipment that i have? Or should I just get simulator like packet tracer? I'm trying to find out what will help me the most to pass the exam. Right now im on the subnet section studying Todd Lammel's book and using CBTs. I was going to try to study for the CCNA exam but I think i'll be comfortable just taking the 2 exams instead. Well anyways, thanks in advance to help me out. I hope to be more active in this forum so I can pass the test.

I'd say this is one of the most frequently asked questions here. Start with the lab manuals in the link I'm providing, and then spend some time looking through previous threads here.
