Quick question for everyone. I just got contacted for a position as a Systems Analyst working on a system I worked on prior to my current job. They said they would fly me from Va to CA, I would work 2 weeks on and have 2 weeks off. the recruiter said she will try to get what I asked for in compensation which is High. What is everyone's feelings?

earweed Member Posts: 5,192 ■■■■■■■■■□Sounds like just another recruiter jockeying for the same contract. I usually advise the new recruiter if I am already in the pipeline with a recruiter for that job.
I will, however, listen to what the new recruiter is offering me (to gage whether the first recruiter was trying to lowball me) and use that info when I next talk to my recruiter. I got a $5/hr raise at my current job by doing this.No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives. -
