Iis ?

Greetings,

Been on here for a while, but I just got hit with some new challenges. I was chasing CompTIA certs for fun till I started doing somethin kinda resembling IT jobs. Couple years ago I got my MCSA just because it was a requirement in the field I got in. This year however my education slowed down, all I did was go through an Exchange 2010 course (70-662). Now, I'm doing web administration, responsible for implementation/maintaining web server technologies... to get to the point, a lot of the job sits on IIS. After doing some quick researching, it seems MS does not have an IIS certification at all, to my surprise.

I'm not aware of any CBTs out there for IIS technologies, as I've purchased a number of TrainSignal and CBTNuggets products. Trying to get somewhere in this career change, if you're aware of anything I could get my hands on during some study times, let me know!

Edit, just found a CBTNuggets Administering IIS 7 & 7.5 CBT... kinda surprised thats it as far as whats out there!

70-643 (MCTS: Applications Infrastructure, Configuring) covers the basic of IIS and then some. IIS is pretty straightforward, and there's not much more to it than what's on that exam.

Reviving an old post I know. But a tip with IIS DO NOT RESTART AN APPLICATION POOL it results in a lot of people yelling at you :P

Pluralsight has a good set of videos on IIS administration. You also get a free trial, so if anyone want to watch those for the MCITP: SA/EA check them out.
