"show route receive-protocol bgp" vs "show route protocol bgp"
Am I correct, that in case I do "show route receive-protocol bgp 10.10.10.1 table inet.0 detail", then I see routes announced by 10.10.10.1 just as they were announced? I mean none of my routing policies have changed anything(for example modified communities) about those prefixes? And in case I would like to see those prefixes after the routing policies have been applied, then I should use "show route protocol bgp <prefix> detail"?

Aldur Member Posts: 1,460Yip you're correct. Just keep the following diagram in mind.
Routes from BGP peer ---> RIB-IN ---> Import policy ---> Routing table ---> Export policy ---> RIB-Out ---> Routes sent to BGP peer"Bribe is such an ugly word. I prefer extortion. The X makes it sound cool."
