Honestly cannot say if I am ready. I do not do well with test regardless if I know the content inside and out. I need this cert by 31 Dec. So if I do not pass how soon can i schedule the retake?

You can literally walk out of the exam center and reschedule for the exam for your second try, but to be honest with you don't sike yourself out for this exam. If you know the content you will be fine. While CompTIA is known for badly written questions this exam is not terribly difficult.
