Win7 new install, imported my data disks and when i click the drive - "folder empty"

had to replace my "C" drive... win7 machine. i did a fresh install, then added my 2 other hard drives and imported them through disk mgr but when i click on them it just says "folder empty." if i rt click on them, i can see they are half full... why cant i get at the data?

Select "Show hidden files and folders" in Folder Options. You also may have to take ownership of the drives and their contents.

sweet!!! i can see stuff, took ownership buut they are all still faded and if i turn off "show hidden" they go away.
