Hello All,
I'm taking a networking class basically for the CompTIA Security+ exam. The book they are recommending is Acing the Security+ Certification Exam (Paperback)
http://www.amazon.com/Acing-Security-Certification-Patrick-Regan/dp/0131121642
I was just wondering if I should get another source or side materials for further study.
I will be buying *optional* LabSim Security+ 2011 (Exam SYO-301) Testout.
Any thoughts or ideas will be beneficial

Welcome to the forum. In general, at least two sources for any certification exam is recommended so asking about the need for another source is a great question. I certainly appreciate the kind words from other people on the forum related to my Security+ study guides and am grateful they are helping so many people take and pass the exam the first time they take it. Whatever you choose though, getting another source is a good idea.
Good luck.

Easy to read and easy to understand. Me an a co worker of mine bought and studied this book a few years back...we both finished in about a month and we both passed the test...my score was something like 850 and his score was like 800 or something. When we both talked about the book...the first thing that we both said was that it was an easy to understand book.
