Guess that's what the message is about, probably looking for the rest of the payment. When I get her on the phone I'll try to find out what's up with the username and password. On the receipt i got it gave me a Student id and a userid for webadvisor, default password was supposed to be initials and 6 digit birthdate.

I actually just got a call from one of their sys admins and they actually had to re-create my account. I was then told that my email will be created tonight.

Just got payment problem worked out, while on the phone asked the person what's up with the student id and webadvisor id, she said you don't get access to the system until the 1st day of class. She gave me the email address of the instructor, he confirmed that as well. Said you get instructions a few days before the class starts. He also said the book for the class is purchased thru their bookstore and it's on backorder.

Just FYI, I was able to access WebAdvisor right after registration, and today my @scc.stanly.edu email worked. But as the lady and instructor said there's nothing yet there to review. My initial concern was the apparent glitch of the registration system and lack of information about the course's communication process.

Hope this isn't a reflection on the instruction of the course, wonder how long they've offered it.

TBH I think getting the value of accreditation to take the exam is more important than the instructor.

I say give it a break before judging. My college was like that, stuff wouldn't show online up until the first day of class. In a few instances it was 2 or 3 days after class started. It was all smooth after that. Probably the same case here.

Yupp, I did mine from UCSC and there was nothing there to see. On the first day of the class, it was all ready and waiting for me.

Did anyone buy the book for the Stanly.edu ICM class? Is it electronic version? What's the Table of Contents look like?

With regards to the books, I am still wondering whether they are in electronic form or not. If it is in electronic form, then there obviously won't be any issue with shipping.

Codier or anyone, have you contacted the instructor and asked him about the books situation?

Anyone knows D. Poplin's email address? I'm going to try to contact him.

@pusher - The school is charging shipping and the book is on backorder so I would say the book is not electronic. Another TE user that is in the class told me that the instructor told him that enough of the material that you will need for the class will be online at the beginning and not to worry about the book being on backorder.

I don't know D.poplin's e-mail address. The person who register the course for me told me the class is the same just different time.
so I think you can contact N. Huneycutt for inquiry.

@ Mkdilly - Yes that is the correct book. It's actually straight from VMWare which is why it's on backorder.

Book should look like this. That is if they're still going to use the 5.0 book and not the 5.1.

That makes three of us. I got my confirmation of shipping today as well. Myself and Taternuts are going to try and build a study group if anyone is interested.
