Doing great on book tests, not so great on techexam practice test
BeachTech_
I have Darril's Book. I have been reading it for a few weeks now. It seems to be a great book.
I am taking sy0-201 on Friday. I have been doing great on the chapter exams in the book, but the 50 question exam on this site I am only scoring in the 73% range. OK, two I missed because I mixed up DAC and MAC. But other questions about IKE, Teardrop attack, Bonk attack, Boink attack, Verification, etc are foreign to me. Which is more accurate, the TechExam test or the one in Darril's book?
Thanks for the help!

Glad you're enjoying the book. Take a look at the Amazon page (

) to see how the book has helped other people take and pass the exam. The biggest thing about practice test questions though isn't so much about getting the answers right, as it is understanding why the correct answer is correct and why the incorrect answers are incorrect. If you're reading the explanations for the questions in the book you're on the right track. The goal is to be able to look at any question and not just know the correct answer, but also know why the other answers aren't correct.
Good luck with the test and let us know how you do.
