Does a IGRP/EIGRP router have only one process on the same router?

if I run twice,
router igrp 10 ; 10 is AS number

Will the router start two IGRP processes, or, keep one IGRP process? I tried it, but to be honest, I can't even figure out how to verify which case it is.

No it won't create two instances. You will need to type router igrp 10 every time you want to go in there and configure somehting.
