70-680 - Don Poulton Book
dazjw
Hi,
Just a quick question. I have been thinking of getting the Don Pouton certification guide for this exam but I was just wondering if it is still one of the better books out there considering it is over a year old now and other guides have had second editions published?
Thanks,
D

don't think you can go far wrong with this book.
It may have been out a while but its a solid book covering all the main areas.
The Darril Gibson book 70-685/686 is a good book and an easier read but this book is more linked to the 680 itself.
Sometimes you've got to put in the hard yards................

Thanks for the reply, might just put in an order for the book.
I was thinking of getting the Darril Gibson book as well as I need to study the 70-685 material as well - I have the MCDST and want to take the 70-682 upgrade exam so will need the study material for both 680 & 685 I presume?
Thanks,
D

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have been going through the free stuff recently - very handy resources. Think I will go for the Don Poulton book, although was considering the Sybex one as well - how do people rate this book, I know a second edition came out recently but not sure if it any good or not.
Thanks,
D
