Going for CCIE

I've finally decided to go for my CCIE. I got my CCNP in 2009 I do not like repeating what I learned to to renew my CCNP for 3 more years I started studying for my CCNP-V. I was afraid of the commitment CCIE would take and I would just beat around the bush. Then my friend pointed out to me I study everyday regardless of what I'm studying for, this will just be one genre. So for the new year I ordered books workbooks etc to get going on this.

My current lab setup is
3x 2801
3x1760
1x2610XM
1x2611XM
2x2950
1x3524
4x3550(I know 3560 would be better but $$$)
1x ASA 5505
1x3640 (Access Server and Frame Relay switch)
Core i3 running GNS3 with 3 4port NIC's

I plan on studying with Cisco's book list, CBT Nuggets, INE, Train station CCIE videos. Come September I plan on attending CCIE bootcamp then take a month off ( I usually do this to see what I learned vs what I just remembered) Then Study again.
February 2013 take written, and CCNP TSHOOT(I heard this is a good stepping stone toward CCIE that they didn't have when I took my CCNP)
The next thing I read is a month out from CCIE just lab for 18hrs a day leading up to the lab.

If any one can offer more information that would be useful in my study's I greatly appreciate it.

IDK how many hours but 2 books down (CCIE Practical Studies and Routing TCP/IP) half way through CCIE R&S Practical lab chapter 1-4 done and 1st lab of INE done. Maybe 20-25 INE/CBT video down, L2 and BGP topics. Then when I'm work I will build labs in GNS3 with the most asinine things that I could remember from previously labs for it gets really engrained.

Its been a couple of weeks since your last post, where are you up to now?

I skipped up to MPLS since I had a Network Engineer Interview for and ISP, and I have been working on INE's MPLS for about 2-3 weeks now, going over the same topics pretty much for it get's ingrained.

An excellent CCIE R&S topic to study in my opinion and clearly relevent for that job if you get it. Good luck with that, and your studies.
