Work on some IT certifications on the side too. It's a difficult industry to get into, but it's worth the effort. Good luck! -

I use to live in the Philipines back in the 90's and from what I can remember you need a degree for practically any high end job (as I recall you had to be a 2nd year college education to work in McD's).
Apart from that maybe a Comptia Cert or two (A+/Network+) and a Microsoft cert (MTA/MCTS).
You may want to gain experience by voluntering at your local PC shop or training company.
But seriously keep on applying... -
